The problem
Market pre-accounting tools (Dext, Receipt Bank, Pennylane…) were designed for French, British and American charts of accounts — each with its limits. When an OHADA firm or accounting team uses them, manual mapping is required between the proposed accounts and the local SYSCOHADA Revised chart. On the French side, legacy solutions struggle with multi-country invoices and African subsidiaries of French groups. The result: much of the time saved by OCR is lost on re-parameterisation.
Worse: on OHADA-specific accounts (601100 Raw materials and related supplies, 401200 Local suppliers, 7011 Local merchandise sales…), foreign tools recognise nothing.
Our solution
ComptaIA was built to fill this gap. Francophone charts of accounts are native — SYSCOHADA Revised for OHADA, French PCG for France, PCMN for Belgium. No retroactive mapping, no translation layer. The AI was trained on tens of thousands of francophone accounting documents (invoices, expense reports, statements, slips…) and proposes the right analytical posting directly in the file’s target framework.
